Spooky Fun Party Ensemble!

Bats and witches and things that go “bump!” in the night – it’s time for Halloween. Create spooky fun party favors and decorations with the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. The gatefold card can be used as a greeting card or as a party invitation. If you decide not to host a party, the luminaries will light the way for trick-or-treaters and the favors can be your treats for the goblins and ghosts at your door. The best thing about this project is that you can substitute another bundle and turn it into an ensemble for any holiday or celebration.

Creation Station Blog Hop - Holiday Catalog Favorites!

Welcome to Creation Station's Holiday Catalog Favorites Blog Hop! I'm super excited about the Holiday Catalog - so many awesome new sets, framelits, just everything... It was hard to say that any one thing could be my favorite, but ONE of my favorites is the Jar of Cheer stamp set. I love that it goes with the Everyday Jar Framelits from the Main Catalog that I already have!

I wanted to make a fillable jar, so I added a Window Sheet piece and used the Foam Adhesive Strips in order to make the 'Shaker Card'. Well then I had seen someone use the Whisper White Mini Pompom Trim (with the pompoms cut off) for 'snowballs'. - So I had to do that!!

I love the idea - but the pompoms don't move around inside!! I guess you could double-up the Foam Adhesive if you really want movement, but I kinda like it with the pompoms just randomly around in the space..

I added the twig of holly and berries, cut off from a larger stamp in the same set.

And what I love most about probably every card is - depth and texture. It adds so much more interest to use Stampin' Dimensionals for layers, as well as gently bending tag or accessory pieces.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop...

Bella & Friends!

With this tutorial, create an adorable set of cards featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Bella & Friends Stamp Set.  The tutorial includes a sweet “pizza box” to hold the cards, and there’s plenty of room for two of each card in the box!  The images in this stamp set make for such a precious set of cards—one of which is a sweet easel design—and  anyone who receives them will feel how much you care from the moment the card is pulled from the envelope.  The box itself can be re-purposed for a gift or for daily use to hold note paper.
